No I didn't mean to convert to datetime. VFP can make it internally when comparing date and datetime. Yes that would be enough to use date() (not memory variable, it is a set filter. Either use contant or a property to keep it on scope)

set filter to tDate >= date(2010,12,21) and tDate < date(2010,12,22)
