> Hi Anup
> if your pc shuts down on power failure in vfp9 you will get the database corrupted very easily. And if you are not using FLUSH command u wana see the negative effect of it?. Just remove flush from your sale invoice and enter 3-4 invoice and without closing your invoice form just rest your pc from power on/off directly. when u gona open the software after restarting the pc u will see the 3-4 invoice which u feeded earlier was not saved in your database!. 2nd i dont know what mechanism you used in your form i have seen the demo of your software which tells me that you are using @say/@get to make your forms with prg. so @get function will lock the record! so beware of it. 2nd vfp looses speed when you use same table on network for read/write. just open same dbf on 10 pc and try list command on all pc you will see the difference and according to my view its your billing form design is the cause of slow data entry? what u found slow? saving or selection of items/party master?. give the brief summary of it i m sure experts will give u right direction for it well my one of vfp6 application with vfp tables is working on 35-40 pcs and even few pc's accessing the software through towers where i have just 12 mb bandwidth!.
