> > haha thanks Cetin for the PS heads up :-) .I never used sms-service of Skype myself but was about to test it - hopefully it's got better ? ... for sure will check out Nexmo as well -
added later: Nexmo seems pricey for Indonesia at Euro-3c/sms.. your 'quote' was a bit off for India (wondering why Pakistan not listed? ): according to downloaded excel

Skype uses COM interface and you know, when it is COM, anything is suspect to work :( We started with Skype, had some problems and then found Nexmo. It works for us as we mainly SMS to USA, Canada, UK ... cell phones. I am surprised to see a place where it is more pricey than Turkey :) I use the pricing page rather than excel to check up to date prices.

Again thanks for the info. Just for your info: Indonesian's overseas/intn'l sms services directly from providers actually ranges more-less equal Nexmo's, so no problem there. It is just that I have a client who's asking me to test-out similar service from international provider, not really sure for what purpose or what he's up to (or just info for branches in Singapore / other ASEAN countries ). BTW, domestic here it's very cheap - most of the times it's even free (they give you 200-1000 sms you never have enough time to use for personal purchase of mere $1-5 talk time )
