It is not clear, what do you want to get with the call like:

Select Alltrim(memo_field) as field_name .... ?

Why not just:

Select memo_field as field_name ....

Other than that, here are a few things to consider:
First of all, the field_name length is not drfinrd, then who knows what will be its actual length, and whether it will be enough to store the longest value from the table.
Secondly, with Alltrim(memo_field) one gets the character field, not memo, and the maximum length for the character field is 255.
