Dear Friends

I have created a cursor:
Create Cursor impo_a (Name C(30),unit C(25),AMT_a N(12,2),amt_d D,Inst N(2),mon C(3),VNO C(5),CB C(15))

I am trying to update a free table Adv.dbf by the following SQL.

Update ADV ;
SET PARK = impo_a.AMT_a ;
SET VDATE = impo_a.amt_d ;
SET Inst = impo_a.Inst ;
SET mon = impo_a.mon ;
FROM impo_a ;
WHERE impo_a.Name = ADV.Name;
AND impo_a.unit = ADV.unit;
AND impo_a.AMT_a>0

But the line SET VDATE = impo_a.amt_d ;
is giving error message "COmmand contains unrecognised phrase/keyword".

It is a date field. ADV table has that field. Pl. guide me.

Regards

srinivas
