Dump Vista.

After working with Vista for a few weeks, I decided it wasn't ready for use. All software, other than Office, gave me problems and was "incompatible" with Vista. I spent more time downloading drivers, fixes and patches than I did working on applications. I went back to XP and have been happy ever since.

I am also looking into Linux Unbuntu, with XGL. If you want a "pretty" OS, it has vista beat. And I am hearing that you can run Windows apps in Linux (without MS support, like they support VFP). Thats my winter project, because if I have to learn a whole new OS, might as well learn the best one.
