I've already rebuilt the project and looked for any syntax issues but I have not been able to pinpoint the cause. When I step through the code the syntax error message pops up after the form's Load event. Do you have any suggestions?

I did try stepping through. When I call the form using "DO Form" it fires the Load event and goes through all the lines of code without any errors, as soon as it finishes the load even the error just pops up. The pointer in the debugger shows the previous form in the line of code of the "DO Form". I've gone through all my code and could not find any incorrect syntax. I've built this form about a year ago and it's been bug and error free in VFP7. I have a ton of controls on it and have gone through each one with no success. I'll continue to try to find the cause but I'm also hoping someone out there might have an idea of what type of syntax it does not like. I read something that if a variable has been assigned a value and then it is later on made PUBLIC that the it will throw a syntax error. I only have initiate 2 Public variables and it is in the INIT of the form and have not been used at that point.

I appreciate your help.

Neil
