Hello Russell

From the "actual" dos-prompt you can use :

- Find /v /c /i /n "stringToSearch" [Drive:][Path]FileName [...]

and of course find /? for the syntax help

- dir /s [Drive:][Path]FileName to search files throught dir/sub-dir

the Find command (still) exist in winXP dos-prompt, don't known about Seven or Vista
