Simon,
We were paying for domain, hosting etc of that foxyclasses site. Recently an Italian fellow wanted to buy FoxyClasses and we told him about our decision to release it to public so he shouldn't pay. But he was generous, he still wanted to get by paying. In turn we decided to spend that money on supporting a site for foxy as a community project (community members help each other and enhance it as they see fit).

As per licensing, I am not a lawyer and never understood those buzz words. In plain English, the code is there. Get it and use however you like and of course at your own risk. If you lose something while using it, I am not responsible. If you gain anaything then again I am not responsible:) Just don't be clever to get code from there, modify a bit and then promote and or sell as if you coded it (this has been done - that is the reason I am saying). I don't care really but such disrespectfullness (is there such a word) hurts.

To recap:
a) Now we have funds to run that site
b) We think to continue on that site.
c) May move hosting to my brother's company who now also does hosting.
d) Will be a community site. Site continues. Maintaining and changing the content will of course need time.
