Binod,

Please call me, Dan. We North Americans I guess are rather informal.
If we had the chance to meet Mr. Obama informally, I suppose we would
address him as Barry or Barack.   It's rude, I know, but we're
strange in that way I guess.

I'm sorry I went on and on about my point.   I sometimes forget
how fortunate I was to grow up with English as my native tongue and I
have great respect for the majority of people on this forum who
put up with the weird characters like me who have a tendency to talk too
much.

I was very happy this year that my daughter (one year out of college)
spent about one month in India traveling from north to south.
I have never been to that continent myself.   Hope to someday.

Among other things she loved the people and food of southern India though she
found it almost impossible to repeat the difficult names and keep up with the
fast language there.  But she brought back a tin to store her curry spices
and she has cooked a few fine Indian meals since she came back.

I have sent audio transcription work for about 4 years now to a guy who lives
in Bangalore.  And my daughter actually had a chance to visit him at his home
and have dinner together with he and his wife.  So this was wonderful.

Wish you, your family, and the rest of my Foxite brothers and sisters the
best during this New Year season.

Dan B.
