What user complaint most is when keying data (numbers most apparent) into grid fields, the result really depends on the initial position of mouse pointer landing on the field. For example, key-in "110" into a numeric field of 2 decimal places, can end up anything like "11.0", "1.10", "0.11".

Can be fixed using a numeric input textbox. It's not a problem of the grid.
