> Guys, who can provide me with a simple code using drag and drop event. At run time, I just want to change the position of an object in a form to a position where i drop the object. I thought the move object will function, but the object remains in the same position, i set the drag mode property of the control to 1(automatic) already.. Hope you can help me with this...

Try

thisform.command1.dragmode = 1

form1.dragdrop
------------------
LPARAMETERS oSource, nXCoord, nYCoord
this.command1.left = nXcoord
this.command1.Top = nYcoord

When you point your mouse cursor on the upper-left corner of the commandbutton, placement shall exactly where you drop it.

You try to experiment using the mousemove event where there is also xXcoord and nYCoord .
