As I made a new version of my application I also had to correct my help files (topics or rtf – files, 'cnt' file and 'hlp' file).
My problem now is that I do not remember exactly how I managed to link those files to my previous application.
In a “help” map of my application I have a help project file, a help contents file, a helpfile and a .GID file.
I compiled them with an old file ‘hcw.exe’ that I also used for my previous version of the application.
I have a ‘helpidx' file that contains the command SET HELP TO xxxx.hlp and that starts f.e when I press F1.

If I call a helptopic in my new application I always get the old ones.
What am I doing wrong?

I work with windows XP. Is it different for VISTA?

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me. Greetings. Lucien.
