Hi David,

Actually, I've been thinking about grids!

My idea is to make an HTML table generator.   Many of them exist on the web.

One of the best I've found is the TableStyler.

This is great.   My improvement would be to achieve integration with VFP data tables and cursors.

The design surface could be the actual rendered table shown in a VFP web browser control.   Clicking hyperlinks in that HTML doc would popup up a VFP SCX holding the parameters and associated CSS settings for the particular table cell or row you select.

To support finding stuff in the HTML, you generate and render an ID for every table cell so when the BeforeNavigate method of the web browser control intercepts the hyperlink, it finds the ID and knows which table cell or row you want to revise and show the parameters for.

So what do you think of this plan?   Maybe somebody has built something like this already.

Dan B.

P.S. So what about Indonesia during this holiday season?   I know Indonesia is mostly a Muslim country, but are there any Christmas decorations in the shops?   Curious.
