64-bit apps is the future. It might come as a requirement 5 to 20 years from now but it will be coming. Sooner or later, your 32-bit app will just be a compatibility version which diminishes its marketability which I think you don't want to happen with your product.

Although, I am now doing more of my newer stuff in .NET, I still like to be able to simply compile my legacy app (which is currently my biggest income earner) and voila I have already a 64-bit app running in the latest 64-bit OS which is now the default installed OS in all new hardware purchases.

This software from Chen will make my "old" legacy app be treated by ignorant prospective clients as a C++ application which got the respect of all developers and anyone who knows about software development.
