Hi friends
I am sql server developer and am current working on foxpro 8.
When ever I want to work with foxpro data I tend use sql queries instead of foxpro native commands.
What I noticed was queries on FoxPro take considerably longer time than sql server.
Even if I used indexed columns still the performance is slow I mean compare with foxpro native commands.
If I write code with foxpro native commands to achieve what I want performance always good.but as you guys know what you can achieve in some 10 lines of foxpro code with some simple 2 lines sql syntax.

What you guys suggest. Is this only way to achieve performance(I mean using foxpro native commands) or do I need to enable something vfp to speed up the queries.
Thanks
cheers
