Wine on linux is not the problem. VFP running on linux under Wine raised quite a rous e in the vfp community.
Indeed Paul McNett and Whil Hentzen demoed the possibility but then Ken Levy told that it was a violantion of the EULA.

However, as far as I can see MS never was completely clear about this topic. Lots of hush hush...
