Eric is right here, I have read some stuff on this and although it is possible to get VFP to run on non MS operating systems such as WINE it is not allowed.

If you read the EULA for VFP there is a clause in there that states that the compiled code is only licensed to run on Windows, if you do a google search on "FoxPro EULA Wine" you will find plently of material explaining the situation.
