Hi Mike
i dont know if you see this thread on unicode Message ID: 208914

i used a windows form textbox (activeX) who is unicode and can load any language.it works with many languages at same time.I try to write with arabic and french in the same textbox and it works with two.

The component you use is also an activeX (flex grid).

I dont see a vfp issue for building/previewing/printing a report with many languages.Its possible for one language installed with many prerequies(RTL configuration for Arabic...)

Vfp is not unicode and then dont accept these characters together.
VFP report can accept fields images (as oleboundcontrol).

There is one solution by west wind: showing all these data in html and then can
preview/print like a report.

that is made passing by binary unicode data(blob fields),unicode data (easy for html).
this is a west wind code for an example of that i adapted :

clea all
IF !FILE("ForeignData.dbf")
   *** Create table with binary text fields!
   CREATE TABLE FOREIGNDATA ( ID C(10),DESCRIPT Blob,LDESCRIPT Blob)
   USE ForeignData Shared

   *** Load up sample data as binary Unicode!
   INSERT INTO  ForeignData ;
   ( id,descript,lDescript) VALUES;
   ( SYS(2015), STRCONV("Korean",5),;
     STRCONV("IAAgACAAIADIwG24jKwgAIzBHKwYtJSyIABLusTJIADostC5MK4gAHzOfLcgAA==",14))

   INSERT INTO  ForeignData ;
   ( id,descript,lDescript) VALUES;
   ( SYS(2015),STRCONV( "Chinese",5) ,;
     STRCONV("rpt3gmlfcoJnUW5/b5g6eU9c",14)  )

   INSERT INTO  ForeignData ;
   ( id,descript,lDescript) VALUES;
   ( SYS(2015),STRCONV( "Russian",5),;
     STRCONV("EQQ+BDsETARIBD4EOQQgAEYEMgQ1BEIEPQQ+BDkEIAAyBD0EQwRCBEAENQQ9BD0EOAQ5BCAANAQ4BEEEPwQ7BDUEOQQ=",14)  )
ELSE
  USE ForeignData IN 0
ENDIF
SELECT ForeignData
* brow

export  to c:\asup.xls  xl5
select Id,Descript as Note,LDescript as Description FROM ForeignData INTO CURSOR TFData
SELECT Id, CAST(STRCONV(Note,10) as M)  as Note , CAST(STRCONV(Description,10) as M) as Description;
 FROM TFData  INTO CURSOR TFData2
* brow

TEXT TO lcHTML

VFP Unicode Data Representation

ENDTEXT
*** UTF-8 Encode - not necessary here, but if you had extended text
*** you'd need to do this
lcHtml = STRCONV(lcHTML,9)

SCAN
   lcHTML = lcHTML + Note + " - " + Description + ;
            "" + CHR(13) + CHR(10)
ENDSCAN
lcHTML = lcHTML + ""
*****************************************
afile="c:\asup.html"
set textmerge on to (afile) noshow
\<<lchtml>>
set textmerge to

apIE=createObject('internetexplorer.application')
apIe.navigate(afile)
do while apIE.busy or apie.readystate#4
enddo
with apIE
.visible=.t.
.width=sysmetric(1)
.height=sysmetric(2)
.top=0
left=0
endwith
********************************************************

Then you can see all languages input appear in the page at the same time.
You have a page web ,you can preview and print easily.
Regards
