Although VFP 8.0 _will_ run under Win 98 you should be aware that it is NOT a supported platform for VFP 8.0 which relies on GDIPlus for a lot of the UI appearance and graphical effects.

If you are running on Vin98 I would strongly suggest staying in VFP 6.0.
