Jijo --

I am glad to see your response.

When the time comes, it seems like it should not be difficult to integrate the two. All my references to functions from FoxTools are handled by cover functions, so it should be relatively easy to alter those as necessary to refer to reference your editor window.

There are few things that would be necessary: (1) my tools would have to be able to recognize when the current window is your editor, rather than a VFP editor window (2) there are actually quite a few functions from FoxTools that I use, so you'd have to provide a few more than mentioned in your message (3) I will need to be able to query the name of the object in the editor window and (4) I will need a mechanism for opening up editing for a different method for an object.

Cheers,

Jim

Beautify is one, of course, and there are others -- including my suite of tools, currently in Beta on VFPx. It will be most unfortunate indeed if these tools and your new editor environment are incompatible, so that users must choose between them.
