If the Grid.RecordSource is a paremeterize3d view, local or remote, you just give the parameter(s) new values and call
REQUERY('myview')
And there you are, with a grid with new and refreshed contents. No reconstruction. Ever.
If the grid's buffered and there are unchanged modifications you'll be reminded to TableUpdate() or TableRevert() before renewing the contents.
