Hi,

Just to verify on this. Several other posts over the past 4-5 weeks with flaky
things happening on Windows 8.1 OS.

is this a clean installation of Windows 8.1 or is this a Windows 8.0 system
than was upgraded to Windows 8.1?

I ask as the other folks when they performed a clean installation of Windows
8.1 their strange flaky issues went away.

I think it is safe to say that Windows 8.1 has a variety of bugs in it even
with a clean installation and there are a number of issues outstanding.

Just go into Google and type in keywords "Windows 8.1 issues"

I for one right now cannot suggest to anyone to run a business computer on
Windows 8.1. I am sure you will see a SP1 released over the next 3-4 months
and most of the issues will be gone. We kind of went through this when Vista
and Windows 7 was first released.
