I'm French and I hope you don't mind about my expressions...

I've got the same problem. It seems to be a volontary blocking of automated messages in XP, and i've been trying for months to find a solution, because I can't accept that all my prior work can be destroyed by a really unelegant way of avoiding problems with mails ( and all types of automatic sending, i presume)

I know that this stupid blocking is not only a problem in WinFax ( called DelrinaFax in France) but also in Outlook.

I'm quite satisfied this forum gave me the opportunity to find a solution adapted to outlook under XP, using the marvellous "Redemption.dll" you can search for in these pages.

But I'm still disapointed about the fact that ther's not even the shadow of a solution concerning Winfax today...

I asked Symantec some questions but they answer "we don't support WinFax programmation", and in french it appears strange because it could be interprated as "nous ne supportons pas la programmation" , meaning "We really can't stand programmation at all"!!!

I find this attitude really sad, cause Winfax is full of functions that allow you to develop a second "Winfax" in any (programable) application, and it's a pity to realise Symantec does'nt care at all of that kind of problems.

I "developed" an MsAccess database really invested in fax sending, and here there are about 10 people using these utilities daily at my work, because we work with about 1100 partenaires in france, and with about 12000 "entries" in the database, yearly.

We are now changing older computers with XP new machines, but don't really know what to do with these knew comps, because of the many "destroyed" functionalities of that databases due to the XP blocking.

Has anybody heard about a genius who could do the same kind of dll as "Redemption", for Winfax ??

If this genius exists, I want to know him (or her), because i do really need this redemption of my databases on XP..

Thanks Louis

> I have used the following piece of code that worked well to send faxes from VFP 6.0 using Winfax version 9.2
> WinFax = CreateObject("WinFax.SDKSend")
> WinFax.SetSubject("")
> WinFax.SetNumber('212')
> WinFax.SetAreaCode('5551234')
> WinFax.SetCompany('ABC Company')
> WinFax.AddRecipient()
> WinFax.SetPrintFromApp(1)
> WinFax.AddAttachmentFile("")
> WinFax.SetCoverText('')
> WinFax.SetQuickCover(0) && no cover page
> WinFax.Send(1)
> But if I use the same piece of code under Winfax 10.02 under windows XP, it brings up the form that asks me top enter the fax#, company name, etc.
