Q: When I post code in my message, how can I keep Foxite from taking out all the spaces on the left?

A: You need to surround your code with <vfp> and </vfp> tags. An easy way to do this is to select your code and click on the fourth button from the left in the toolbar at the top of the editing window. Other supported code tags are:

- <vbnet> and </vbnet> for VB/NET code ;
- <csharp> and </csharp> for C#code ;
- <tsql> and </tsql> for TSQL code

Also, and for italics and as well, and for italics.

Ken, I think you're referring to the standard HTML tags for italics, which are <i> and </i>. If you put the actual tags in your post they don't show up because they end up getting rendered instead. You need to use the escape sequence if you want tags to appear in your message. Escape sequences for HTML are the ampersand followed by the appropriate abbreviation. for a less than symbol, that's lt; and for greater than it's gt;

But the point is that most standard HTML tags will work. This FAQ was meant to point out tags that are available that aren't standard HTML.
