Returning (SetFocus) back to a Previous Object
Thread ID: 67077 Chris Klim Returning (SetFocus) back to a Previous Object Is there an elegant way to return to a TxtBox (Object) in a form that I am editing if I branch off to another Object, For example. I’m editing a customer maintenance form and I am currently editing the address Field, (It could be any field on the form ). I press the Memo Button. This Memo button Adds a Container Class Object that includes an EditBox Object and a Close Button. I use this to edit the customers’ Memo/Note info. Once I close this Object, the Object is invisible. How do I set focus back to my previous object without explicitly referencing that object? Chris

"Add" not working
Thread ID: 349984 alan shulman "Add" not working I used the form wizard to create a simple data entry form. I replaced one textbox with a combobox based on an sql into a cursor on a table that is not the parent table. Now my "add" button is not highlighting. Is there a way to change the parent code of the Load statement so I can put the sql in there? I feel like by adding my sql to the Load, it is doing something to prevent the Add button from being available.

The code in the command button to exit the form is: thisform.release close all When I click this command button comes the "Cannot open the selected table" error message, twice. "STOP" Button
Thread ID: 35589 Cheryl Bellucci "STOP" Button I have a form that allows the user to click on a "START" button when the user wants the process to start. (Easy enough...) What the process does is go out and check dbf statuses, process records, update date/time stamps, etc., in one big DO WHILE loop. (Yeah, I realize that's probably not good... would welcome other suggestions on that as well...) There are INKEY calls within the loop to allow the processor to pause when it can't find anything to do. What I have is a big "STOP" button on the form so that the user can click on it when he/she wants to end the process. Problem is, I can't seem to click on it. That is, even though it is enabled, I

I have tried reseting the loItem to .NULL. after the loop, then issuing a RELEASE loItem, this still does not work. > The only workaround
